Posts Tagged ‘Film and Television’Curiouser and curiouserSaturday, March 6th, 2010I went to see Alice in Wonderland last night with a group of friends and while there appeared to be mixed feelings among them as to what they thought of it – I can safely say that I absolutely loved it. I fully intend on seeing it again. I’m in a fair bit of pain at the moment. I fell off an exercise ball backwards at work the other day, and landed on the corner of some wooden stairs. Ouch! My back is just one big bruise at the moment and it hurts to move. Alice in Wonderland,Thursday, December 17th, 2009 (click image for source) The weather here is revolting at the moment. I’m looking forward to going away to the beach with my best friends for a few weeks though – that is going to be awesome. We’re also all going to go and see Where the Wild Things Are – which makes me very happy, I’m really looking forward to it all. Today though, I saw the trailer for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. I have been looking forward to the release of this film since I first heard it was being made. I hope you all enjoy and look forward to this movie as much as I do! I only recently read the book for the first time, but I loved it so much. I’m also a big fan of Tim Burton’s work – I love it, and find it pretty inspiring. So overall – this is just making me so excited. I’d also like to just take a moment to congratulate Liss, from Daydream Lily, on being listed #23 on Times Online’s Top 50 Design Blogs! You should all check out her blog, it is truly lovely. Back to backing up my DVDs again – so far Moon Child, Matilda and The Spiderwick Chronicles are the only ones that have given me any grief yet.
